This wine is named after my childhood home, THREE FIFTEEN Santa Ana Avenue in San Francisco, California; a magical melting pot of family, friends, laughter and mutual support. This Zinfandel opens with a bouquet of vanilla and ripe dark fruit. On the palate, it is full bodied & fruit driven, supported by layers of cinnamon, clove and a hint of white pepper. This wine has very well-balanced tannins and very smooth & velvety finish. Indeed this is a classic Dry Creek Zinfandel, but in its abundance of diverse flavors reminds me of the creative and fulfilling experiences found at 315 Santa Ana Avenue.
The creation of P. Harrell Wines has emerged from my long standing passion and appreciation for wine, from the smell of freshly picked grapes after a successful harvest to sampling wines in barrel, and ultimately indulging in the enchanting wine culture with others. Each bottle is carefully crafted from only the highest quality grapes from various vineyards in Dry Creek Valley and the SierraFoothills.
